Day 1: New York
After your arrival in New York City, you’ll be transferred independently to your hotel. You have the entire day to relax and explore the area on your own.
Day 2: New York – Philadelphia – Washington, D.C.
This morning, drive to Washington via Philadelphia. A beautiful city and the birthplace of the nation, Philadelphia is well known for its historical and cultural attractions. Day 4: Washington, D.C. – Williamsburg – Roanoake
This morning, you’ll leave for Williamsburg, the colonial capital of Virginia. Explore the city’s impressive colonial architecture along the Duke of Gloucester Street. You’ll also visit some of the colonial houses and public buildings in the area, including the College of William and Mary.
Day 5: Roanoake – Blue Ridge – Asheville/Gatlinburg
Leave for Asheville. Enjoy a scenic drive along the sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take in the refreshing air and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Asheville, situated in the heart of North Carolina, has a rich history and interesting cultures. The place has many natural and historical attractions.
Day 6: Asheville – Great Smoky Mountains – Nashville
Feast your eyes on stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Visit the popular Mountain Farm and Museum to learn what life as an Appalachian farmer is like. Day 7: Nashville – Memphis
Today, travel across the countryside to reach Memphis. The home of Sun Records, Memphis is widely famous for its incredible Blues music. Enjoy a city tour which includes a visit to Beale Street, the heart of the music scene. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit the home of the legendary singer Elvis in Graceland.
Day 8: Memphis – Jackson – New Orleans
Travel through Jackson to Louisiane and New Orleans. Here, you have a chance to enjoy interesting colourful creole culture. Take a dinner cruise onboard an authentic Mississippi Riverboat. Enjoy the rhythms of a Dixieland jazz band (optional).
Day 9: New Orleans
Today, you can simply rest or experience the vibrant charm of New Orleans. Explore your surroundings, or head to the famous French Quarter to see beautiful buildings and charming cobblestoned streets. Try local cuisine at a street-side vendor outlet or enjoy delectable dining at a decent restaurant – the choice is yours!
Day 10: New Orleans – Gulf of Mexico – Pensacola
Enjoy the drive along the stunning Mississippi Gulf Coast when you’re heading to the city of Pensacola. Here, you’ll visit one of the top 10 rose gardens in the US at the Bellingrath Home (admission included). Later on, spend some leisure time on Pensacola Beach. Stroll around the shore or simply lay down to soak up the sun.
Days 11-12: Pensacola – Orlando
Travel along the Florida panhandle to Ocala. Continue your journey through central Florida to reach Orlando for your overnight stay. You can spend your 12th day at leisure. Unwind by the pool, shop in the local markets, take a hot air balloon ride, or visit one of the city’s fun-filled theme parks (not included).
Day 13: Orlando – Miami
You can choose to depart from Orlando or continue on to Miami. Visit the Kennedy Space Centre, home of America’s space programme (admission included). Have a fun-filled time at Miami Beach. By the time you reach Miami, it would be approximately 6pm. Your tour ends here. Head to the airport on your own to catch your departing flight.
